Gradually, it’s been declining, but i feel that right around the 1st few months of this year is when it rly took a huge plunge
Not only have i noticed this w my own art and stuff, but a lot of friends who create stuff have noted similar things. even popular artists and writers who used to get 5k+ notes per post are only getting a couple hundred. I used to get abt 800 per post and now im lucky if i break 50. 90% likes to 10% rbs.
Ppl say u shouldnt create just for the attention but damn spending HOURS on smth and getting little to no feedback when u used to get a decent amount is shit
This goes for fic authors too. We don’t get reviews much anymore, people just hit the kudos button and call it good.

Even though I haven’t given y’all an update in forever… 😂😭😩 I have noticed the lack of interaction with fics. Reblog and talk to these authors!!!! Yes they are doing this for free and because it is therapy for some (myself included), but that doesn’t mean that they don’t enjoy validation of their work!!!!! It’s been hours since I finished my Chamber of Secrets reread and I’m still thinking about how much Ron cared about and missed Hermione while she was petrified??
-when Malfoy says he wished she’d died and Ron has to be physically restrained by Harry and Dean until they’re halfway to their next class to keep him from full out attacking him
-when he looks at Hermione’s empty seat in class and resolves himself to follow the spiders!!
-when McGonagall tells everyone that the mandrakes are almost ready and Harry describes Ron as looking the most cheerful he has in weeks!!!
-that same moment when it’s mentioned that the awakened students might be able to tell them who’s behind the attacks and Ron immediately launches into how Hermione will be able to because she’s Hermione and she definitely figured it out because she’s brilliant and he’s speaking with complete certainty and confidence in her I just!!!!
-after everything he went through thinking his sister is dead and going into the chamber of secrets, afterwards in Dumbledore’s office when it is mentioned to Ginny that those treated with the mandrakes should be waking up so no harm done Ron immediately goes back to Hermione by exclaiming ~brightly~ “So Hermione’s okay!”
Loads! For Western cartoons, I like the original Teen Titans animates series, Steven Universe, Archer, Bobs Burgers and Bojack Horseman. Not to mention shows from my childhood like Rugrats, Classic Simpsons, Arthur, Hey Arnold, Recess and Mona the Vampire.
As for anime (which I suppose also counts as cartoons if you stretch the definition), I like Hero Aca, One Punch Man, Dragon Ball (original and DBZ), Nozaki-Kun, Nichijou, plus many of Studio Ghibli’s stuff. (and that’s just to name the ones off the top of my head).
