Not gonna lie, a lot of my love for the “Ron presumed dead because he lost his memory and doesn’t know he has a home trope” is that everyone who treated him badly gets to suffer, while Ron is out there living his best life.

I’ve been googeling for days!
One was based off the movie Memento by Chris Nolan and the other…. Ron being captured and Wormtail remembering how good Ron was to him when he was his rat so he let Ron go. Either on purpous or by accident ( I don’t remember) Ron looses his memory and ends up with this chick, he reminds her of an ex lover and she kind of doesn’t want him to get his memory back.
If anyone knows thses fics PLZ help!

@headcanonsandmoreThe Guardian Brotherhoodis kind of in the same vein as the two I mentioned. There are some parts you might wanna scroll past but it’s a good story and the one that introduced me to the presumed dead Ron idea.
@diva-gonzo yeah, they’re old fics. The Memento one I read after reading Eternal Sunshine of the Scourgified Mind but can’t remember if it was after the first time I read it or after a re-reading, I just remember going “huh another fic based off a movie,” I’m 80% sure it’s not called “Memento “ but 100% sure Memento is in the description.
The other one, I think the chick who found and cared for Ron and “fell in love with him” was a psychiatrist.
It’s really frustrating because I read them during a really bad bout with the flu that had me incapacitated for almost two weeks and I sent the whole time in bed reading fics. I read so many I couldn’t keep track of the names. I jumped from one fic to another without fav-ing or reviewing so there’s no trail. Now that I’m in the mood to read fics like that I can’t find them.
I just really hope it was on FF and not one of the many that shut down.
ETA: The Memento one the last scene I’m pretty cure took place at a beach.

Just finished ‘Second Chances’. Good grief, such a heavy read but really gripping (although I wouldn’t recommend it to people who’s favourite character is Percy).
I don’t ship Drinny (Draco x Ginny). Like, at all.
But I can’t deny that, purely from an aesthetic perspective, the pairing is nice to look at. Tom Felton and Bonnie Wright are both exceedingly attractive, and look good together in photo-sets about the pairing.
Having said that, I fancy Evanna Lynch and Rupert Grint; so it’s already clear that I have a thing for blondes and redheads.
