I really want a movie where there’s this Dark Brooding Male Hero who’s like, a total badass, and during all the fight scenes he keeps getting flashbacks to happy images of his wife, and like his whole narrative is framed around his wife, and all the other heroes on his team know that he’s got this passion and vengeance and think it all has to do with his dead wife… but then near the end of the movie his wife shows up and he’s like “hey babe” they’re all shocked and they’re like, “Wait I thought all your power and passion came from avenging your dead wife?” and he’s like “no bro, I just really love my wife, she’s really cool, she’s what keeps me going” like… a reverse fridge

The Weasley Kids

Rose shares her father’s hair, complexion, sense of humor and love for quidditch but she has her mother’s eyes and her drive to be the best at everything. She loves to be right. She’s an athlete like her aunt and a fierce advocate for the underprivileged like her mother. Attended muggle primary school and played lacrosse before starting at Hogwarts. Makes friends easily, people genuinely like her. 

Hugo has his mother’s unruly hair but his father’s blue eyes. He’s has the intelligence of both his parents but he’s quiet and would rather go unnoticed. He’s not out-going but when he loves, he loves passionately. He tried to go to muggle primary school with Rose but even from a very young age his magic has been unsuppressible and muggles confuse him. He homeschooled with Molly until he started at Hogwarts. His family is incredibly important to him.. even if he does find them a bit too loud. He loves chess like his father and books like his mother. Awkward around people but always kind. Charlie is his favourite uncle.

Last night I had a dream about the trio that occurred a couple years after the final battle. Everyone was in a library together and Hermione (naturally) was rummaging through practically every book. She suddenly started having a panic attack and collapsed to the ground and started panicking/crying. Then Ron ran to her and sat down next to her and put his arms around her and rocked with her slowly to calm her down. I don’t even ship it but that moment was so beautiful I woke up with teary eyes.

Yeah, Romione will do that to you. Also, this happened in canon at least twice.

what she means: why do jk rowling and the pottermore staff think ron’s only talents are eating sweets and supporting the chudley cannons? have they suddenly been struck with amnesia so severe that they’ve forgotten the events in all seven books that lead to everything his character is? or have they been exposed to the movies for too long? do they honestly think that ron is just there for comic relief? just there to be ‘one of harry’s two best friends’, eating sweets and supporting the chudley cannons? why is he treated so unfairly by the very people that are supposed to understand his character best? does the staff at pottermore realise how many people relate so very deeply to ron and all that he represents? and that, by reducing his character to nothing more than ‘eating sweets and supporting the chudley cannons’ they take away that relatability, as well as indirectly offending the thousands that identify strongly with ron’s personality and storyline? what are they doing? why are they doing it? will ron weasley ever get the appreciation he deserves? when will this injustice end?

Ok so, since Tumblr is being an over protective Christian mother int he worse possible ‘Carrie’ sort of way, I’m going to ask that ya’ll reblog and spread the word about your favorite writers and artists again. Likes are nice, but reblogging is way better. And with the way things are and tags and searches being literally nonexistence, we need you so much! I know activity has gone way, way down for me and other writers and artists, and now, it’s gotten so much worse. Tumblr has literally fucked up being able to search for anything at all. Your reblogs mater and are so important. If you want to keep seeing content from us, please, for the love of god, reblog. I hate asking this, but it means the world to me to be able to keep creating here. If Tumblr keeps fucking up then a lot of your fvaorite artists and writers may move elsewhere. Hopefully Tumblr will get everyone back to working order soon, but for now, YOU are the most important thing to us creators. 

Agreed. Nobody likes or wants to guilt trip but the reality is that, especially if you create mature content or content that could be deemed risky (such as LGBT content) most specifically to advertisers, creators need help in getting their works out there because as we are seeing in real time the built in tools of the system are falling to pieces. Algorithm, what algorithm?! Thus we rely on others to reblog, moreso now than normal (and we already rely on them a lot) to gain exposure and, in the case of those of us who are selling art, pay the bills. It’s why I constantly re-reblog my work: I love making art but as a creator love isn’t eyes on my work or money in my pocket or food in my stomach.

So please consider, if you like someone’s work, reblog it–it goes a long way.

Well, it’s 10.31am where I am so… in 1031….

  • Europe is still consolidating into various states, including what would later become known as France (Henry the first succeeded Robert the second as king of the Franks in this year) 
  • Caliphate of Córdoba implodes due to infighting 
  • France has a famine
  • Byzantine general George Maniakes captures Edessa from the Arab Muslims and stabilises the eastern frontier of Byzantium.
  • England is still being ruled by the Saxons, and hasn’t got round to thinking they’re better than everyone-else yet
  • Cornwall is still an independent country
  • Russia doesn’t technically exist yet
  • The Vikings had already reached North America, but it didn’t work out very well 

28. Do you have a favourite “dream team” of historical figures living at the same time in a specific era of history?

  • I really like the idea of Henry the Eighth ending up being thrown into a womens rights march in the modern day. The look on his face would be priceless. 
  • It would also be funny to show Chris Columbus a modern satellite image of the world, and seeing him get angry when he realises he was completely wrong about geography. 
  • On a more positive note, it would be nice to bring Vincent Van Gogh to a modern art gallery, so he’d know that his works mean so much to so many people. I know Doctor Who already did that, and it made me cry.
