I’ve been a little down lately with all the art I’ve got to work on so I took a break and decided to go one piece at a time and start with the one I wanted to finish the most. So I combined the two things I love the most Harry Potter and Frozen , I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out and I kinda like the sketchy lineart style I’ve adopted lately, I would a similar one with Kristoff and Anna as Ron and Hermione but it would just end up being a hogwarts au with them in the wrong houses
If you can’t imagine Ron Weasley belting out the entirety of Queen’s back catalogue, then you probably need to.
I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again; Bohemian Rhapsody Is Ron’s anthem. Both within the story and fandom.

“Nobody loves me” also feels like a punch in the gut when you remember how 70% of fanfics involving Ron bash him for being him.

He does do that occasionally, but (like you say) it’s more common in the UK than other countries. I always get the sense that he doesn’t like the publicity side of the industry, and prefers just working on his craft. He’s also quite a quiet person, so I imagine that has an impact as well.
I don’t think it’s the reason he’s so underrated. He’s highly respected as an actor amongst his acting peers. Yes, people still know him for his HP role. But you could say the same for virtually every other young HP actor.
He does do promotional events and awards shows, but they rarely get media attention. I personally quite like the fact that he’s not bothered about it all; you get the sense he’s in it for the acting, and not for the fame. I see it as a sign of authenticity.
It is sad that most people (outside of the UK) think he’s quit acting, but all they have to do is google his name, and see all the stuff he’s done.
I suppose Luna is open-minded, so it’s possible she would. Probably for a portrait rather than a photograph, though. A moving magical photograph in the nude would probably be a little too…well, you know…
In his second year, he uses nonverbal magic to create slugs in his own mouth (the wand backfired). Slugs are technically food, and he didn’t transfigure his own saliva, so he technically broke Gamps Law.
I know Rowling only added that law in DH so that there’d be some excuse why they simply couldn’t make food in the tent, but still. Ron breaks something that is supposedly unbreakable as a child, and yet no-one thinks he’s a decent wizard.
