When Ginny tells Harry that she’s pregnant, Harry’s second thought (after being incredibly overjoyed) is a dawning feeling of horror that the baby will be just. like. him.

“Ginny we flew a car to Hogwarts when we were twelve years old. You don’t understand.”

“Oh sweet Merlin we flew out of Gringotts on a dragon.”

“I caught the snitch in my mouth Ginny how will I survive a child that’s anything like me.”

“The boa constrictor just wanted to go to Brazil it seemed reasonable at the time.”

Oh my Ron would be so thrilled.

“Harry I can’t wait to tell your kid all about Dad and Uncle Ron stealing Granny and Granddad’s car”

“NO RON THAT’S SETTING A BAD EXAMPLE”

“Or how about the time Dad blew up his aunt”

“RON NO BEAR IN MIND HERMIONE IS THIS SPROG’S AUNT”

“Oh no worries I’ll just tell the kid about the time Aunt Hermione set a teacher on fire while Dad was doing risky things on a broomstick and Uncle Ron was punching Malfoy in the face”

“RON!”

Tbh Harry is totally asking for it though by naming his firstborn “James Sirius”.

When did Daniel and Emma admitted that (that Rupert is better)? I don’t remember them ever saying that? (It’s true tho, he’s so much better, to this day.)

Dan mentioned it in an interview once. Not sure when, though. I think it was a behind-the-scenes thing during one of the last few films.

Emma also said it in the same behind-the-scenes interview, and has repeatedly gushed over how much of a brilliant actor Rupert is. Apparently, on the set of DH parts 1 and 2, she repeatedly almost broke character because she kept wanting to yell ‘you’re brilliant!’ at Rupert. I seem to recall her saying in an interview that he was ‘magical’ but I’m not sure if that had anything with his acting (I don’t ship Gr*ntson but I wouldn’t be surprised if she had fancied him at some point).

I agree with them; Rupert is the best actor out of the three, and has been since the first HP film.

Thanks for the ask, anon! Hope that cleared things up.

‘Ron proposing to Hermione’

It was an open prompt- so I had to think out ‘er, how would this go down?’  I didn’t have a firm headcanon of it- it’s fluid. I have a lot of varied ideas-

My main solid idea was that he wouldn’t wait all that long to propose to her- like within a year or so of the final battle. It’s after a war- they’ve been through enough stuff that their souls are pretty old- So they’re not older than 19/20 or so here.

Scenario: he takes Hermione for a fly and a picnic a bit after her graduation. They need a bit of a break from Auror stuff and she has a few weeks before all her work kicks in. He’s had the ring on him for a while as he just can’t seem to pick the right way to propose- the right moment. In some ways he feels like it’s daft to propose at all- they’re so young! But then they’re out there, and the sun is setting, and she’s looking so beautiful and she’s saying something like- ‘Today was perfect. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could just spend all our time like this, just the two of us?’ blah blah blah talking about stuff they’ve been through, talking about their future together.

And before he knows it he’s talking about their future too- and they’re both sort of going off on tangents about the future they picture together- and it’s getting pretty detailed- just both dancing around the whole marriage thing… then he’s like- you know what? This is it. This is the moment.

And he decides right then to propose- that would be in their future together. And she cries, and he cries a bit and it’s super romantic.

Might have helped saved the wizarding world, but did so much wrong along the way.

He also left Harry in an abusive home. I never understood why Lily’s sacrifice meant Harry had blood protection at the Dursleys; when Harry sacrificed himself for all his friends, he protected all of them. Wouldn’t Lily’s sacrifice mean that Harry was protected against Voldemort all-the-time and not just at the Dursleys.

Thanks for the ask, @justsaya! Keep sending me asks for unpopular opinions, everyone!
