Weasley twins dyed their hair ginger, Felton bleached his white blonde, Lewis wore fat suits and false teeth, Coltrane also wore fat suits and bushy hair/beard and Emma refuses to dye her hair brown and wear wool jumpers that are actually cozy. I am sure filming and going to school was hard but child labor laws are strict in UK, they were treated well and not overtly used.

Yup. They probably realized making her happy was the way to get her to stay on board. They should have just let her quit after movie three, though.

I used to blame the filmmakers for what they did to Hermione but then I learned that Emma Watson played a part in it. She even said that she “hated” Hermione’s hair in the first movie. I will never forgive her for that.

Tom Felton got bullied for the blonde hair and Harry Melling had to wear a fat suit too. And don’t even get me started on what they did to Rupert Grint. They purposely made him look as ridiculous as possible and killed his character. So why did Emma get special treatment? Lmao, fuck her.

I heard that Emma Watson criticised the bushy hair several years later, although she had no real problems with it at the time. Not sure about the wool jumpers thing, though. 

But, from what I’ve gathered, she certainly got more privileges than her other young co-actors (being allowed to change her character’s visual appearance, writing some of her own lines, etc.). 

I’m surprised to hear that Tom Felton got bullied for the blonde hair, though.

I felt like I was terribly ill-equipped to be a celebrity. The fame part
of things was not easy. I was a teenager with acne and self-esteem
issues and I vividly remember going to stay at the fanciest hotel and
looking at myself in a gilded mirror, feeling like I was too ugly to
stay in this room. I’ve come to see that awkwardness and that sense of
being ill-fit as a gift, however. It’s why I empathise so much with Luna
and why confident social misfits always inspire me. I keenly know the
pain of not fitting in and it makes me wish I had a shell I could crawl
up into. Luna knows what it feels like to not belong anywhere and yet
she embraces that feeling and doesn’t let it dim her spirit.

Movie Nights

Hello again!! Thank you so much for the kind words as it really has inspired me to write more!!!  To answer the question about the Tumblr account-no I don’t have one yet but I’ll make soon. The remarks I got from my previous headcanon were so great that I decided to write this headcanon that has been circling my brain for awhile now. I just never had the courage to follow through. This headcanon is inspired by my love for cinema and if Ron and Hermione had it as well. Hope you enjoy!! (PS. Spoilers for Infinity War)

Movie nights

  • Ron and Hermione love the cinema and they make it a point to go there every Friday night.
  • Ron prefers the more action based movies like the Mission Impossible franchise or the Star Wars saga. But secretly he has a guilty pleasure for romantic comedies like midnight in Paris or serendipity.
  • Hermione likes movies that make you think such as Blade Runner 2049, Sherlock Holmes, and Inception. But deep down she is a sucker for a good dumb action movie.
  • They both hate Horror and always try to avoid that everytime they go to the theatre
  • They fell in love with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ron and Hermione were there when Iron Man came out and they cried when Infinity war ended
  • Comedy movies for them are the Harry Potter series as they laugh at how they are portrayed although sometimes they just want to punch Steve Kloves in the face.
  • Ron and Hermione sobbed when Jack died from freezing and they sobbed even more when Spider-Man died.
  • When Tom cruise said “you complete me” in Jerry Maguire Ron looked at Hermione and said the same thing.
  • Their favourite couple is Han and Leia as they’re reminders of themselves
  • When ever there is a kiss scene in a movie Ron and Hermione also kiss in the cinema.

Hermione: What’s the sudden change in interest, Ron? Usually, you moan for ages before we go on patrol.
Ron: Listen, the keeper position and my prefect status are the only things I have. I’m trying to… you know, take a little more responsibility with them.
Hermione: (hoarsely) Re…responsibility?
Ron: Yeah. Me and Harry have started formulating strategy for the next match, and I’m taking steps to improve my Keeping skills. As for prefect stuff, I’m taking my paperwork more seriously, and I’m going to be writing reports for every patrol we do.
Hermione: (continuing to stare at Ron, biting her lip and tilting her head)
Ron: What?
– SEVERAL HOURS LATER-
Hermione: (to Ginny) I want him. I want him… bad.
