I’ve got this idea for a tv show…

It’s a comedy-drama starring Rupert Grint. He’s recently moved to a new city (it can be any city, but you probably have a preferred one in your head), and moves in with some people he’s met online. The show is all about him meeting interesting and slightly quirky people as he gets used to living as a thirty-something who hasn’t quite got his life worked out yet.

What’s your pitch for a Rupert Grint tv show?

Ex-football champion scores a winning goal before suffering a career ending injury. He moves to Boston and signs up to coach high-school football… then realizes he signed up to coach…

American football.

YES!

I hate how Ron’s best moments weren’t shown in the movies and given to Hermione, Harry or even other people. It’s an unpopular opinion, but I absolutely adore Ron (especially in Chamber of Secrets). There’s just something about him I love so much.

Ron is my love and while Rupert Grint was the best at his role in playing him, I hate that they made his character the comic relief dunce and a-hole, because Book Ron is way more than laughs, jokes, and a-hole moments. He is a very smart, typical teenager with a good heart that sometimes let his temper and insecurities get the better of him just like a lot of people, and I wish people would stop bashing him as if he were a Death Eater.

I love me some Ronald Bilius Weasley!! I wish I had one in my life.

Especially if he looked like Rupert Grint 😍😍

Please say I’m not the only one who feels slightly cheated because we will never really know the tune to “Weasley is our King”?

I FEEL EXTREMELY CHEATED THAT RONALD WEASLEY DID NOT GET TO BE KING IN FIFTH YEAR LIKE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO AS WELL AS NOT GETTING THE SONG SO I COULD SING IT WHEN CHEERING HIM ON!! SCREW YOU DIRECTORS!!😡😡😡😡😡😡

Day 16: Favorite Ron defending Hermione moment?

Couldn’t find a GIF, however, this picture is PERFECT!!

I WILL NEVER FORGIVE THEM FOR RUINING THIS IN THE MOVIE!! SHAME!!

In Prisoner Of Azkaban, Snape subbed for Lupin when he was having one of his episodes. Snape asks a question, Hermione raises her hand, Snape ignores it, and proceeds to belittle the class for not knowing. Hermione decides to speak up anyways, and tells the answer. Snape calls her an insufferable know it all. And in the movie, Ron says “He’s right you know.”

When I first saw this, I had to think back. That didn’t sound right to me at all. I went home, looked in my POA book, and sure enough, it said that Ron got mad and yelled at Snape for making fun of Hermione and Snape gave him a detention.

SO FOR ALL OF YOU WHO ONLY SAW THE MOVIE, THAT IS HOW IT REALLY HAPPENED!! NOT THAT BS THE MOVIE SHOWED!!

Ron and Hermione would pick on one another. One thing that Ron picked on her about was her being indeed a know it all. At first it was hurtful to her (especially the beginning of first year when he truly meant it to be hurtful), but eventually, it just became part of their playful banter and silly way of flirting with each other. She would do the same thing with him about stuff that concerned him as well. Ron actually had a lot of respect for Hermione’s brilliant mind. So much respect, that if anyone ever came at her and picked on her about it (even Harry), he would immediately jump down their throats. How dare anyone come at his best friend/future wife like that!!

This moment showed that at 13, he truly didn’t give a freak who you were, if you came at his best friend, you would hear his mouth and he didn’t care what happened. Ron probably did that detention with a smile on his face because it was gained from him being a good friend.

Another Ron/Hermione scene that was filmed but never shown.

Now the following was put up by a stand in that would post on imbd. He continued to do so for HBP (way before it was released and he posted about the burrow being burned down and everyone thought he was bullshitting) and was proved legit. So the following just makes me want to sob that we never got to see this.

As she pulls Neville off he continues to stare back at the frozen Death Eater in stunned amazement…

…as we abruptly TRACK laterally THROUGH THE SHELVES, to FIND

RON AND HERMIONE

racing down an aisle, SHOOTING OFF SPELLS behind them as they are pursued by two Death Eaters. Hermione wings one of them but the other remains hot on their trail. Seeing the GHOSTLY FOG inside some of the Prophecies she’s running past, Hermione gets an idea–

–and USES HER WAND to TRIP a ROW OF PROPHECIES off their stands. Ron, realizing what she’s doing, immediately does likewise–

In rapid succession orbs EXPLODE on the floor like giant light bulbs. RISING MURMURING GHOSTLY FIGURES obscure the Death Eater’s view; as he struggles through the mist RED BOLTS of FIRE FLASH in the fog around him; he takes a HIT, VANISHING into the fog–

–as Ron and Hermione approach the end of the aisle suddenly a HUGE DEATH EATER appears from the darkness, blocking their way. A FLASH of LIGHT as Ron takes a HIT to his arm, goes flying–

HERMIONE
Ron–!
–but before she can say another word the Death Eater uses his wand to FLOAT HERMIONE INTO THE AIR–she SCREAMS–

–Hermione’s eyes find Ron’s, plead–“do something!” With steely resolve Ron scrambles for his wand, takes aim–

RON
STUPEFY–!!

The Death Eater goes SPINNING round and CRASHING into the shelves–as a shower of PROPHECIES rain down on him, knocking him out cold–

–but leaving Hermione floating in mid-air. We STAY WITH HER as she SCREAMS, tumbling through space–

–abruptly stopping as she lands in Ron’s arms. Ron is as just as stunned as Hermione, who stares at Ron, as if seeing him with new eyes. Finally:

RON
Better keep running.

HERMIONE(instantly)
Right.

They race off–

well…. dammmnnnn….

Omg….I NEED TO SEE THIS!!

I’m starting to notice a trend in these films where scenes of Hermione appreciating Ron were removed from the final edit. Oh, well; at least OOTP still had the scene at christmas…
