I have a similar situation with my female friends; I have a lot of them, and I tend to have brief crushes on them at first. Although I’ve never told any of them, I can understand your irritation. Maybe it’s such a novelty for him that he can’t help but get an ego-boost out of it? Or maybe he had a crush on you too at first, and is really happy that you saw him that way?
