Hey like;; Do you have any advice on how to overcome the fkin same face syndrome?

Draw different faces xD
No but seriously, DON’T BE AFRAID OF UGLINESS! You have your default face you draw all the time because you find it pretty and any deviation from the “pretty face” feels uncomfortable. But if you look at photos of different people you’ll see that beauty shows in all shapes, the trick is to make them harmonise with each other.

I drew a default guy and changed only one feature in each drawing and in most cases it might look a bit unnatural. But if you look at the last row you’ll see that all the features, more or less, harmonise with each other in each portrait. It’s because they weren’t added and modified by accident, they were chosen, one by one, to fit the character. So thinking about the character, their personality and purpose is very important.

You can play with position of eyes, or lips, or whatever you want, and it’ll also change the face. And you can practice random faces! Don’t focus on drawing a perfect character and erase what makes them different and special, exaggerate the features and have fun, use references, get familiar with faces and their elements.

I loved @vivithefolle‘s “Headcanon that Ron sleeps like a cat. Either curled up in a ball of adorableness or sprawled out in all his long-limbed glory.” so I decided to draw some cat Ron xD

Okay so that “sprawled out in all his long-limbed glory” Ron looks absolutely utterly fantastically HOT. Oh my god just look at him. But that peaceful expression though, he’s such an angel hhhh ❤

Also with that other sketch we get to know why Hermione wants Ron to wear tight jeans. Like, damn, that’s a mighty fine butt. He looks just so adorable with that way-too-big sweater, his nose hidden in his sleeves… Aaaah what an adorable cutie!! I want to pet his hair SO BAD. Or to put his head on my lap, THEN pet his hair. Hhhnngg!!

And the curled up Rons!! Oh my god can he get even MORE adorable – the answer is YES, yes he can! Look at him, looking so innocent and pure and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH I wanna hug him and squish him and never let go <3<3<3

And awww, sleepy Ron probably falling asleep during Binns’ History of Magic lesson in the upper corner…

All in all, you are a gift and those sketches are a gift and goodness golly your Ron is so adorable I love him ;v;

Are you sure this is how the muggles decorate their christmas trees without magic?

Sometimes there are days when nothing works out the way you want it to.

When you accidentally burn the cinnamon cookies and they rather resemble Hagrid’s cooking. And when you open the box of ornaments in the attic, only to find out that the ghoul has smashed almost half of them.

And then, when you think your perfect Muggle Christmas (which you have promised your future father in law) is ruined, there is Ron in the living room, struggling with the christmas tree illumination and the lametta. It’s a tangle of freckled limbs and power cords, plugged into an improvised socket, and in the middle of it all there’s Ron’s face in the soft glow of the light bulbs. 

And Hermione just wants to kiss him, because there is Ron, and electricity, and he’s a genius
