The names Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint sound more made-up than Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.

It gets better; Rupert’s full name is Rupert Alexander Lloyd Grint. He sounds like royalty.

Sir Rupert Alexander Lloyd Grint, Duke of Davenport and Scotland Yard

So, he’s the duke (and a sir) of a defunct brand of sofa, as well as the London Metropolitan Police? Actually, that sounds amazing. Rupert needs to make a TV show out of that premise.

i must made up random names bc they looked fancy xD in italy usually Sir is a fancy way to say “Mr.”(or so i listened in some old drama with nobles and princess xD)  ahahaha but oh my god xD ahaha i can’t stop laughing xD

Awww, fair enough. Yeah, in the UK, we also have that as a posh way of saying ‘Mr’, but ‘sir’ is also the official title someone gets if they get knighted by the queen. Dukes are people usually related to (or part of) the royal family.

This kiss okay. It wasn’t scripted. It was improvised, suggested by Dan and Bonnie agreed with it. Look how much desperation and longing and understanding they managed to put into a moment that wasn’t even scripted at all, because they understood their characters in that moment. Look how much better this kiss is compared to that weak ass scripted and scrappily directed first kiss in the Room of Requirements.

Like I get that if you look at the movies, it would seem Dan and Bonnie don’t quite have the same kind of chemistry as Dan has with Emma, but this kiss shows me that Dan and Bonnie would have managed a convincing and decent portrayal of canon!Harry/Ginny if they were given the chance to explore their characters, were nurtured by a director and a writer who gave a rat’s ass about this couple, who cared to put some development into this relationship.

And I don’t think Dan and Emma’s on-screen chemistry came magically out of nowhere either. They literally spent better parts of all their years from the time they were 10 and 9 together. In a script written by a blatant H/Hr shipper like Steve Kloves, helped later by Yates who seemed even more determined than any director before to push Ron into a corner. So of course Dan and Emma, and by extension Harry and Hermione in the movies will seem much more compatible. Dan literally had like two scenes with Bonnie from PS to GOF. OOTP, for a HP movie, did a okay-ish job of establishing Ginny as her own self, but then completely messed up Harry and Ginny’s bonding process in HBP. And then you wonder why their romance came out so lacklustre…

What about Daniel Radcliffe? Forgot he exists too? It’s not like they are a couple?

I have… many questions….

Also, Emma’s going to be in ‘Little Women’? I’ll take ‘Emma’s eyebrows doing the Mexican wave’ for 300…

@rupelover Wait, ‘Little Women’ is set in New England, isn’t it. Which would require Emma Watson to act with an American accent. Oh, this is going to be hilarious….

If she is playing Jo I am going to be PISSED. But I bet it is, because it’s to replace Emma Stone (who is SUCH a Jo.)

Jo is one of my favorite characters of all time, and I don’t want Emma 1) taking this iconic AMERICAN role 2) messing up my fave character with her barely passable acting.

I can’t… I just… Ugh.

Also, from what @lytefoot has been saying, Jo March is quite similar to Hermione Granger. Either the casting people are type-casting her, or Emma just likes playing Hermione-type roles a lot.

It really doesn’t. A period-appropriate New England accent isn’t really distinguishable from Emma’s accent, at least to American audiences.

Although, I am constantly amused by British people doing American accents, so, you know. I would be totally at home to that.

Also: is she playing Jo March? Because Jo March and Hermione Granger are basically the same person.

Fair point. Although, what does that make the total of ‘roles Emma Watson has taken that are basically just Hermione Granger again’?

Guys, let me warn y’all that if she was pants at the LA/California accent… trying to master a completely different one in New England will be… challenging. (The closest found to some British dialects is Appalachia.)

No, I think it will be closer to this:

Her vocal coach is gonna have their work cut out for them…yowch…..
