I think one of the funniest parts in HBP is when Hermione’s talking about how all the ladies love Harry because he grew another foot during the summer and Ron goes “I’m tall” and I’d love to see your opinions on it

probably the exact moment hermione realised she was in love

And Hermione says that Ron has the emotional range of a teaspoon. It would have been nice if she had actually paid attention to Ron, instead of ignoring him like a utter twit!

Your crush is literally begging you to notice them, Hermione, but no; you carry on complimenting their best friend (who they already have insecurities about being second-best to) and ignoring them. Seriously, this is the moment when the Lavender Brown situation became almost inevitable in my eyes.

I almost burst out laughing when I read the Pottermore article on the Malfoy family. Just a tip, JK, real estate is a risky and involved business. The Malfoys were not lazy for getting into it; to the contrary, it shows they were shrewd investors. I’m more suspicious of the Potters, who may or may not have tested potions on Muggle neighbors.

What makes you think the Potters tested their WIZARD products on Muggles? Mubbleborns maybe, but certainly not muggles.

The Potters seemed to have stolen their wealth at least what I get from DH.

I thought they were inventors. Especially with that Sleekeasy stuff.

Where in DH does it imply that they stole their wealth? The Potters got their enormous fortune because ‘Fleamont Potter was said to have quadrupled the family’s wealth by inventing Sleekeazy’s Hair Potion and selling the company at a vast profit when he retired’ (Link here).

Funnily enough, the wiki also mentions that Ron apparently owned and used the potion, which had ‘unique results for redheads’. I wonder what the results were…
