I love your headcanons! I was wondering, could you do a Romione (Or other Harry Potter characters) and how they celebrate Halloween? Or not really celebrate it because of James and Lily (Depending on what era/characters you use)

Hello; thank you! Yes, of course! Hope you like these!

  • Harry and Ginny carve pumpkins (using both magic and non-magic methods) with their kids. Harry enjoys taking his mind off the anniversary of his parents deaths, as the pumpkins remind him of the halloween feast at Hogwarts, and of the night when he, Ron and Hermione became firm friends.
  • Ron and Hermione often go trick-or-treating (Rose and Hugo insist, despite Hermione’s worries about their dental health). Last year, Ron went as Ed Sheeran, and no-one realised except Hermione (who decided to sing ‘Perfect’ to him when they were…er, alone). Often, they’ll pop over to Harry and Ginny’s to help with the pumpkins (which Harry loves).
  • Neville often helps makes massive pumpkins for Hagrid
  • Luna makes decorations for her friends to use, as well as helping Neville and Hannah with the plants as Hogwarts
  • After the kids have gone to bed, Ginny stays up to cuddle with Harry, and whisper sweet nothings into his ear.
  • Over at the Weasley-Grangers’, Ron has finished baking Hermione’s favourite pumpkin pie. On repeated occasions, Hermione will stop eating to press a kiss to Ron’s cheek (he blushes everytime).
  • Harry and Ginny fall asleep in each-others arms, safe and content.

Thanks for the request, anon; hope you liked those!

MY HEART I’M CRYING TEARS OF JOY

Drawing this was emotionally taxing.

(Thanks you talking-bird-jessie for suggesting this scene from Order of the Phoenix!)

Reblogging because this is beautiful and totally should’ve been in the movie

Why are moments like this not in the movies? 😥

I have this headcanon that after Neville proposed to Hannah Abbott, he went to his parents at St. Mungo’s and sat with them. Even though he was sure she wouldn’t understand or remember, he held his mother’s hands and told her, “I’m getting married, Mum. She’s great. You’ll really like her.” Alice just hummed and stared off into the distance. No reaction. Neville still stayed, telling his parents all about Hannah and their plans, and how she wanted so badly to come meet them and he would bring her next time.

Then, as he put his hand on the door handle to leave, he felt a hand on his shoulder. It was Alice. She held out her hand as she had done so many times before. Expecting a candy wrapper, Neville held out his hand but felt something heavier drop into it.

When he looked down, there were two rings. And when he glanced to his mother’s hand, there was an indent where her wedding ring had once rested but was no longer there.

I’M NOT CRYING, YOU’RE CRYING!

I love your Abbottom! Could you write some more, for Neville’s birthday please? :)

“And he still has absolutely no idea?”

“None at all,” Hannah says, and they exchange conspiratorial
glances which they quickly wipe off their faces as Neville re-enters the room.
Augusta Longbottom wipes invisible crumbs off the coffee table, and Hannah smooths
out invisible creases in her skirt.

“Thanks again for the cake, Gran,” he says. “And I’ll
definitely get a lot of wear out of those new wellies. But I think it’s time
for me and Hannah to go—our reservation’s at seven.”

“Yeah,” Hannah cuts in apologetically. “About that. Neville,
I’m so, so sorry but whilst you were in the bathroom, a message came through
from the pub. Everyone who’s supposed to be on tonight has come down with some
bug, and they’ve got absolutely no one there, and it’s such a nice day that
they’re bursting at the seams. Tom practically begged me to come in—there’s no
one else, and he’ll have to close otherwise.”

His intense disappointment is clear, but, to his credit,
thinks Hannah, he doesn’t for a moment suggest that she refuse to go in and
help out, even though it is his
birthday and the two of them have had this meal booked at the newly-opened and
very fancy restaurant at the other end of Diagon Alley for weeks.

At least as far as he knows.

Neville and Hannah Longbottom won the poll on my patreon!

(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧  ஐﻬ MY PATREON ﻬஐ

Finding a alcove at the Leaky Cauldron, Neville pulls her close as she’s heading over to deliver some butterbeer to a customer.

He’s a lot more bold with her than he’s ever been with another person.

She makes his inner lion come out.

‘She makes his inner lion come out.’

Is that supposed to be a metaphor for something?
