the older i get the more it’s clear that being smart doesn’t get you very far if you’re not disciplined. there are tons of people who are brilliant but not disciplined. they have amazing ideas but cannot finish a project. they are creative and innovative but cannot execute a plan. i see how important it is to set deadlines and boundaries for myself an to be disciplined.
Hufflepuffs- teach us your ways.
Well, if you insist…
Here are my top tips as a Hufflepuff for getting things done;
Get rid of distractions, so finish any chores that you need to do before you start
Play relaxed classical or atmospheric music to help with whatever you’re doing (I personally find it helps me concentrate)
Make sure you eat and drink properly. You can’t do much hungry and/or dehydrated
Don’t force yourself to be creative; it’ll happen on it’s own
Give yourself a reward for reaching a target. Say, watching a favourite film or listening to a great album you love.
Set deadlines and goals that you can realistically reach.
Friendly reminder that the Harry Potter fandom is the actual worst
The fact that this person has the same name as a Hufflepuff character makes me doubly angry about this.
A Hufflepuff: *is insulted by someone and called ‘useless’*
Every Gryffindor, Slytherin and Ravenclaw in a five mile radius: I am a Potterhead. You insulted a Hufflepuff. Prepare to die.
