I really need a Brooklyn Nine Nine style TV show about Harry and Ron’s time at the ministry, with like

  • Hermione fighting for house elf rights etc and being made minister in maybe season 5
  • Harry and Draco slowly falling in love
  • Maybe every few episodes there’s a joke about how attractive Neville got but we NEVER see him
  • An episode where some idiot gets hold of a time turner and only goes back a few hours but shit is still fucked up, many insinuated jokes about the cursed child ensue
  • Ginny shows up in one episode and everyone thinks she’s still with Harry but then at the end Luna shows up and it turns out they’re super gay for each other and it’s beautiful
  • Having to visit Umbridge in Azkaban one time and Harry doing that “annoy her into talking” thing
  • Ron’s also there being the adorable sidekick that’s always eating and is always talking about how great Hermione is and what she’s doing next cause he’s so fuckinh supportive and he just loves her so much
  • When it inevitably ends we get a better version of the 19 years later scene where everyone’s happy and Harry’s kids have normal names

Ron was never a sidekick, but these are awesome.

Why do people ship Luna and Ginny so much? Not that people can’t ship whatever they like but when I see fluffy headcanons I’m confused because wasn’t Ginny kinda rude when talking about Luna? I thought hermione and Ginny were both kinda mean when it came to her (but I could be remembering the books wrong so idk)

Because Ginny became friends with Luna during OOTP (and it’s implied that they were acquaintances before that). Ginny called Luna ‘Loony’ once, and then matured to such an extent that she told other people off for calling Luna that.

Ginny was way nicer to Luna than Hermione was. Hermione didn’t like Luna at all at first (possibly because Hermione picked up on Luna’s slight crush on Ron), but Ginny became close with Luna fairly quickly.

Personally, I ship the two of them (or them both in a poly relationship with Harry) because they work so well off each-other, encouraging and supporting each-other. Their personalities mesh really well (a little like Ron and Hermione), and they have a close friendship canonically, so it’s not that much of a stretch to see them as a couple.

I always tell my friends that i ship Hinny and i do, but i ship Ginny with Luna more than anything else in the world. And they don’t need a ship name; they deserve separate names because they are interesting individuals. (not that i don’t think of other characters as interesting individuals)

Very true. They have a great dynamic, and work well off each-other.
