If you can rate the HP cast (the young ones) according to their acting talent (not just their performance in hp, in general), how would you? Who’s the best and who’s the worst in your opinion?

Oooh, I’m gonna anger a lot of people with this answer…

With 1st being best;

  1. Rupert Grint (great in everything I’ve seen him in, very versatile actor with a huge range. No complaints whatsoever. Have yet to understand why he’s not more recognised for his talents)
  2. Evanna Lynch (great in everything I’ve seen her in)
  3. Bonnie Wright (same again. Wish she’d been given more to do in HP. She was virtually wasted until the last three films)
  4. Tom Felton (great in everything I’m seen him in, no problems with him as an actor. People I know have referred to him as ‘desperate’ in his publicity appearances, but his acting I have no problems with.)
  5. Matthew Lewis (great in ‘Ripper Street’ especially)
  6. Daniel Radcliffe (somewhat bland in early HP, but good in a lot of other projects. Works better on stage than on film, in my opinion. Very good at ‘unusual’ roles that make him think outside the box)
  7. James and Oliver Phelps (good in everything I’ve seen them in)
  8. Jessie Cave (good in HP and in other projects)
  9. Alfred Enoch (apparently, he’s very good on stage)
  10. Devon Murray (doing very well as an actor; no complaints)
  11. Katie Leung (haven’t really seen her in much else, but was good in what I did see her in. I think the HP films didn’t give her much to work with, which is a real shame)
  12. Emma Watson (I’m still not sure why she got so much hype during HP when her acting-especially in the last 4 films- was so lacklustre most of the time)

Thanks for the ask, anon!

Awww….

And before you all start jumping down my throat after Draco Malfoy saying the same sort of thing to Pansy Parkinson, I’m well aware of it. The difference is that Ron got his broken limb as a result of shoving Harry out of harm’s way. Malfoy got his broken limb because he ignored a teachers warnings and insulted a Hippogriff.

Opinion on poc!Weasley’s?Personally i like to think of them as black, pakistani or iraqi .Also on a side note,i don’t why people say they’re ‘obviously white’.Maybe it’s the hair but redheaded poc do exist

I think they say that because the books described them as white? I’m not sure though.

I like the idea of the Weasleys being pakistani, and staying true to their cultural roots. Can you imagine a desi wedding for Ron and Hermione? The Weasley twins secretly charming the dhol to be louder than usual and singing the most offensive songs for the dholki session. Ginny teaching Harry how to dance and Harry being blown away at how talented she is. Teddy being all #proudhufflepuff when he learns that they’ll wear Yellow for the Mehndi and then being told that it has nothing to do with his house. Arthur taking responsibility for the decor for the Mayoun, and getting carried away as usual. Molly being a talented Henna artist and doing the girls’ hands. Hermione allowing it to be applied to her hands but charming it to not itch and smell. Ron looking even more dashing than usual in a sherwani.

And now I really want to see a picture of Rupert Grint wearing a sherwani.

Hmmm… *googles what a sherwani is*…

Oh, yeah; Rupert would look gorgeous wearing this…

How about this one?

Daaaayyyyuuuuuuummmmm…..

Of all the cast, why Rupert? Anyway I just love him😍

A RUPERT QUESTION! I LOVE YOU, ANON!

Okay, there are just so many reasons to love this guy. (and please keep in mind that I don’t ever have celebrity crushes; the closest was Harrison Ford when I was about 4)

First, because this is how I was introduced to him, is his portrayal of Ron. We all know that Ron’s character was given the short end of the stick, to say the least; so many of his good qualities were cut, and his negative ones enhanced and left unexplained. I think if anyone else had played him, there would be even more Ron hate than there already is. But Rupert somehow gave him so much of the heart that they tried to leave out, and that says a lot about him as an actor.

And as an actor, he’s really interesting. In real life, he’s a fairly shy person, but ‘Rupert’ melts away once he’s on screen on stage, and you see the character, and not him. He can play cocky and arrogant so well that you would think he wasn’t acting at all, and that takes skill. I also admire the fact that rather than taking roles that will increase his fame or bank account, he instead chooses ones that will either teach him something, or one he will simply enjoy making for the love of it.

But to be honest, I love him for more than his acting abilities. Or his cute face. Or his delicious forearms. Or his squeezable….*ahem*…yes.  I just really love what I’ve seen of his personality. He’s always so kind to fans, and tries to make time for them, even when you can tell he’s busy. His love of animals is a big plus; who can resist a guy with teacup pigs and alpacas? He does charity work, but he’s not showy about it. He has a heart for people, but he doesn’t want or need recognition. His family is very important to him, and he makes time to keep those relationships strong.

He also has such a wide variety of interests! From music, to his choices in literature, and art, he’s always involved with something creative. I think it’s wonderful that he produces his art under another name, and doesn’t rely on his fame to get by.

Really, I could talk about Rupert all day, but it basically boils down to the fact that he’s kind, sweet, funny, quirky, humble, and talented that really makes me take an interest in him.

(It has nothing to do with his nekkid rump. That doesn’t enter into it at all. Nope. Not even a small factor. Can’t even recall what it looks like.)

Speaking of Instagram captions… Did you really ask Rupert Grint to fuck you?!

Yes! Well, it’s not like I asked him. I wasn’t face to face with him! I was going my comedy bit, my stand up material on stage, and I knew he was in the audience. So I put it out as an open invitation.

What was he like?

He was one of the nicest people ever. They brought him back and we had pictures with us. I thought he’d have the pictures then leave – instead he ended up hanging out with us for an hour-and-a-half backstage. We had drinks and talked. His girlfriend was there. She loved that I asked him to fuck me! Sharon Needles asked him for money. It was a great night!

Weasley twins dyed their hair ginger, Felton bleached his white blonde, Lewis wore fat suits and false teeth, Coltrane also wore fat suits and bushy hair/beard and Emma refuses to dye her hair brown and wear wool jumpers that are actually cozy. I am sure filming and going to school was hard but child labor laws are strict in UK, they were treated well and not overtly used.

Yup. They probably realized making her happy was the way to get her to stay on board. They should have just let her quit after movie three, though.

I used to blame the filmmakers for what they did to Hermione but then I learned that Emma Watson played a part in it. She even said that she “hated” Hermione’s hair in the first movie. I will never forgive her for that.

Tom Felton got bullied for the blonde hair and Harry Melling had to wear a fat suit too. And don’t even get me started on what they did to Rupert Grint. They purposely made him look as ridiculous as possible and killed his character. So why did Emma get special treatment? Lmao, fuck her.

I heard that Emma Watson criticised the bushy hair several years later, although she had no real problems with it at the time. Not sure about the wool jumpers thing, though.

But, from what I’ve gathered, she certainly got more privileges than her other young co-actors (being allowed to change her character’s visual appearance, writing some of her own lines, etc.).

I’m surprised to hear that Tom Felton got bullied for the blonde hair, though.
