romione featuring hermione finding out about past ronarry

so the Golden Trio is redoing their 7th year at Hogwarts.

by this point Ron and Harry have broken up but remained very close friends. Nothing could ever really tear those two apart besides death & maybe not even that.

And Hermione and Ron; well they’re together now. They have been an official couple since the ron saved the house elves in the battle of Hogwarts.

The two of them (Ron and Hermione) are talking about their past relationships and crushes when ron casually mentions that he and harry dated for about 6 months in 4th year.

“Wait, what?” Hermione was shocked. “Why didn’t i know about this?”

“You didn’t know?” Ron asked. He was genuinely surprised. He had thought he & harry made obvious. But maybe Hermione was a bit more oblivious to romance related stuff than he had thought. After all it took her years to figure out he fancied her.

“Of course i didn’t know, Ronald!” Hermione exclaimed. “I didn’t know you were gay!”

“No, Hermione! not gay. Bisexual, like Harry & Ginny are.” Ron corrected her.

“Oh.” Hermione knew a bit about LGBTQ+ community since she had several friends part of it. Now she added her boyfriend to long list of queer friends she had.

She was having a bit of an internal freak-out though because what if Ron still had feelings for Harry? What if he left her to be him? Of course Harry was with Ginny now? But what if something changed?

Ron must have noticed because he wrapped his arms around her in a big bear hug.

“Don’t worry, Hermione.” he said. “I like Harry pretty well, he’s my best mate. but i’m in love with you now. not him. I’ll always be in love with you & I’ll always want to be with you. You’re my soulmate, Hermione; and i want to spend the rest of my life making you happy.”

and Hermione believed he meant every word.

i might have to come up with something for how hermione reacts when she finds out that ron & harry were together. i personally think she’d be jealous but at the same time understand because “same harry! ron is way too amazing for his own good! it’s a wonder he doesn’t have a line of people waiting to date him!”

“because they know how you get when you are jealous hermione! they’d never dare touch ron with you around! you’d kill them!”

I’d like to think that it would turn out that way.

Ron, Hermione, Krum, and Lavender: an analysis of romance and jealousy

Hello it’s me again!! The same guy who wrote voice of an angel and the insecure life and I’m here with something that’s NOT a headcanon but an analysis of something that has been discussed before but I want to also put my own opinion and take on things. If possible please accept and post thank you so much!!

Now here’s the thing I actually think the Ron and Lavender romance wasn’t bad. I know it’s easy to hate lavender but I have come with an explanation as to why the romance was a good way to mature both Ron and Hermione. When I first read Goblet of Fire and I arrived at the yule ball scene, my thoughts were “Ron’s being immature and Hermione is allowed to date anyone she wants to” and It was the same thought for Half-Blood prince just reverses “Hermione’s being immature and Ron can date anyone as well.“ In Half blood Prince Ron is not at fault because he’s dating Lavender because he just wants to be loved (and don’t we all?) at the point in the book where Ginny says that Hermione kissed Krum then Ron decides to give up on pursuing a relationship with Hermione because clearly she doesn’t like him that way. Hermione releasing the birds is herself being immature about the whole thing and complaining about not getting what she wanted. This is an unpopular opinion to most of the HP fandom but really….. Hermione is more immature then Ron. Ron after the Yule Ball talked to Hermione and resolved the drum incident afterwards and he never really got stared a huge argument after and the whole Krum argument took about 1-2 chapter and a Christmas Eve . In Hermione’s case Ron had to nearly die for Hermione to realise she was being an Idiot.

But this is why I like the Romione relationship and why I think it’s the best romance in all of fiction. The fact is the Ron x Hermione relationship is REAL. There is no love at first sight, vampire hotties, or kinky sex stuff. The girl and guy are not even in love when they first meet. Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger go through life as best friends and only at the end when they have matured do they love each other. Viktor Krum and Lavender Brown were necessary to show that love sometimes is not at first sight. Ron and Hermione had to grow and realise that they were both immature. In deathly hallows they both realise their immaturity and selfishness and decide to put it behind them, that’s what makes the kiss all the more sweeter because they finally grew up. The kiss at the end of Deathly hallows is more than an expression of love but a sign to show that Ron and Hermione are done with immaturity and petty feuds that they love each other and that’s it. This is also why I don’t believe JK Rowling when she says that Ron and Hermione need a counsellor for their marriage because they are already done with the immature part of their like and their love is real even though it took Vicky and Lav-Lav for them to realise that.

I very much agree that Ron is more mature than Hermione is; he acts more mature at the age of fourteen (after the Yule Ball) than Hermione does at the age of seventeen (during Ron’s relationship with Lavender). @ronandhappiness and @vivithefolle, this seems up both your streets; thoughts?

Hello!! It’s me again the same guy who wrote the headcanon of Ron’s voice and insecure life thank you so much for posting my last one and this next one is something I just thought of. (Romione AU)

When King Arthur dies instead of the lady in the lake taking back his sword Merlin convinces her to put the sword back in the stone. The sword sits there waiting for the next king to take it.
Merlin’s descendants Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin build Hogwarts around the sword and hide it with the most potent magic.
Decades later when Ron Weasley arrives with his friends he feels as if something is drawing him beneath the castle.
In 3rd year he hears of the legend of King Arthur’s sword and seems strangely fascinated by it.
He gets taunts from the Slytherins and even some teasing from his classmates when he says he can pull the sword from the stone.
Only Hermione doesn’t tease him and truly believes that Ron could lift the sword of the king.
The night of the battle of Hogwarts and after they destroy the cup. Ron and Hermione find a hidden chamber with the sword in the stone.
Knowing the sword will only reveal itself to the worthy Ron encourage Hermione to lift it. But Hermione says no because she is not the worth one but Ron is.
Ron hesitant at first pulls the sword free from the stone and holds it in his hand.
The morning of the battle when Voldemort arrives Ron charges at him with sword and he doesn’t stand a chance.
The Wizarding world hails the trio and Ron for being the true king. But for Hermione Ron was the king even without the sword

The Insecure Life

Hello again!! I’m the same guy who wrote movie nights and voice of an angel and I want to thank you once again for accepting and considering my head canons so far. This head canon is really a personal one for me because I sometimes see Ron’s insecurity and self-doubt in myself. It’s why I haven’t had the courage to write until now. The reason why I love the Ron/Hermione relationship so much is because deep down I think Hermione would understand how Ron feels and vice-versa. This is my take on how Hermione would have dealt with Ron’s self doubt, insecurities, and even the locket’s torture.

(warning:Angst)

The Insecure life

Hermione sobs and cries when she finds out about what really happened with the locket. She makes sure Ron never feels like that again and moves in with him to be by his side everyday.
Rainy nights trigger nightmares for Ron as he remembers what it was like when he left. Ron still hears the cold voice of the locket and his mind conjures scenes of Hermione leaving him for someone better. Ron screams for her and Hermione holds him until he stabilises. She constantly whispers in his ear she loves him and says he’s worth it.
Hermione has a 2 hour screaming match with Ginny when she finds out what she told Ron in sixth year. The fight ends with Hermione showing Ginny the pensive memory. Ginny weeps and apologises to Ron
Hermione screams at interviewers when they don’t give Ron any credit at all
Hermione weeps with Ron and blames herself even though Ron says not to.
Hermione cuts off connections with any person who says that Ron is not good enough for her.
Hermione gets in a 5 hour screaming match with Steve Kloves over the treatment of Ron in the movies.
Hermione wears pyjamas that say Weasley is her king every night.
Hermione holding Ron close and cuddling him every time he thinks about the locket.
Ron and Hermione getting married and Hermione says “I hope I’m enough for you.” Ron replies with “Always”

Hello Again!! I’m the same guy who wrote the hidden secrets AU headcanon and the movie nights headcanon. I’m back with another AU headcanon about Romione called voice of an angel. Hope you enjoy!!

Voice of an angel

The biggest secret of his entire life was that Ron loved singing and he would write songs in his spare time.
He loved singing in the shower and loved composing lyrics while tending to the garden. But he never told anyone his secret not even Harry and Hermione.
Out of all the songs he wrote, Ron’s favourite was a song called “wishing I was in your arms” dedicated to Hermione
The night of the Yule ball he decides to perform that song in front of everyone and the whole school loved his voice.
Ron suddenly became famous and was asked by a wizarding record label to record the songs he has written.
Ron’s 5th year happens and the first album drops. It’s called “loving a know-it-all”. Hermione is shocked when Ron says that the song “wishing I was in your arms” was for her and not Fleur.
Ron and Hermione fall in love at the end of 5th year and Ron takes her as inspiration to write new songs
In sixth year Ron travels all over Wizarding London to perform with Hermione by his side
In seventh year Ron’s second album “UNDESIRABLE no.2” hits top charts despite Voldemort’s reign
In 1999 Ron’s third album “Victory” is dedicated to Fred
Ron’s next single “Locket” hits top charts again
After Ron marries Hermione he releases his fourth album called “Swish and Flick” dedicated to Hermione and considered to be his best album.
Years later, Ron comes out of singing retirement to make one last album-“Loves of my life”-dedicated to Rose, Hugo, Harry, and Hermione.

Movie Nights

Hello again!! Thank you so much for the kind words as it really has inspired me to write more!!! To answer the question about the Tumblr account-no I don’t have one yet but I’ll make soon. The remarks I got from my previous headcanon were so great that I decided to write this headcanon that has been circling my brain for awhile now. I just never had the courage to follow through. Movie nights

Ron and Hermione love the cinema and they make it a point to go there every Friday night.
Ron prefers the more action based movies like the Mission Impossible franchise or the Star Wars saga. But secretly he has a guilty pleasure for romantic comedies like midnight in Paris or serendipity.
Hermione likes movies that make you think such as Blade Runner 2049, Sherlock Holmes, and Inception. But deep down she is a sucker for a good dumb action movie.
They both hate Horror and always try to avoid that everytime they go to the theatre
They fell in love with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ron and Hermione were there when Iron Man came out and they cried when Infinity war ended
Comedy movies for them are the Harry Potter series as they laugh at how they are portrayed although sometimes they just want to punch Steve Kloves in the face.
Ron and Hermione sobbed when Jack died from freezing and they sobbed even more when Spider-Man died.
When Tom cruise said “you complete me” in Jerry Maguire Ron looked at Hermione and said the same thing.
Their favourite couple is Han and Leia as they’re reminders of themselves
When ever there is a kiss scene in a movie Ron and Hermione also kiss in the cinema.

Hidden Secrets( A romione headcanon AU)

Hello again!! I am the same person who wrote the previous headcanons on Ron and Hermione dancing in the dark and Ron being the unsung hero. I just want to say thank you for accepting my headcanons so far and liking it as I find writing about my OTP truly great. I decided to write an AU headcanon on what would have happened if Ron and Hermione got together in 5th year but kept their relationship a secret. Oh and I watched Crimes of Grindelwald and found it ok.

Hidden Secrets( a romione headcanon AU)

Ron and Hermione’s relationship starts after the battle at the ministry. Ron confesses his feelings to her and their first kiss is on her hospital bed.
They hide their relationship from everyone because they fear what people think. Their secret includes writing letters with code names, snogging in the meadow near the burrow, and late night conversations in Ron’s room.
Hermione makes sure she goes to every Quidditch match and cheers the loudest when Ron blocks a quaffle.
Their first dance is at Slughorn’s party but not on the dance floor, it’s outside where the music can be heard but they can’t be seen.
Ron never goes after lavender because he loves Hermione to much and he rejects lavender’s advances.
Ron snogs Hermione so passionately the night Dumbledore dies.
The first time they dance in public is at Bill’s wedding much to everyone’s approval
Hermione convinces Ron not to leave but stay instead.
Ron snogs Hermione passionately again after Malfoy manor.
When they reveal their relationship after the battle of Hogwarts no one is shocked.

Dancing in the night

Hello again!! I’m the same guy who wrote the previous head canon’s about Hermione’s possessiveness and Ron being the unsung hero. I’m writing another one because I just finished rereading and re-watching the Harry Potter series and I wanted to write how Ron and Hermione would have reacted to (in my opinion) the worst scene in the entire movie series- The dance scene in DH part 1

Ron and Hermione decided to not attend the premiere of Deathly Hallows part 1 like everyone else for two reasons. The first being they wanted a quiet date night by themselves as husband and wife and the second being they didn’t want a mob of people there when they reacted to the Malfoy Manor scene. They drive through the cold night to the edge of London far from the premiere, and they stop in a small quiet town with little to no cars and as luck would have it a small cinema showing Deathly Hallows part 1.

They buy their food and sit at the far edge of the cinema where no one would be watching and wait for the movie to start. The film goes well enough for the first hour even if they left out some of the major parts but still passable enough to watch. That all change when Ron leaves on screen. Ron watching himself to that is not anymore affected as he dealt with that issue a long time ago and faced it. However, it’s what happens after that really brings shock to him. Harry and Hermione dancing on screen, laughing, and looking happy without him. He turns to Hermione and sees that she is also shocked by it herself. Ron decides at that point to leave the cinema and give himself time to think. Hermione stays and watch the movie portray a relationship that she never wanted and will never want.

Hermione then she sees the locket scene and realising she can’t take anymore of this also decides to leave the cinema. She finds Ron under a lamppost and notices the tears in his eyes. She sits down beside him and says “what that film showed, it’s not true”. Ron is still quiet and Hermione decides that now is not the time for words or lengthy explanations but a time for action. Hermione stands up and offers her hand. “May I have this dance Mr. Weasley?” she says. Ron takes her hand and gets up and under the lamppost they dance. They dance for hours and hours to soundless music, they dance though the night not caring who sees them,and they dance until their feet are tired but they keep moving. Hours later, Ron says that he knows it wasn’t real but he was afraid that maybe what the movie said was right that Hermione would be happy with someone else. Hermione smiles and says “ I can never be happy without you Ron Weasley” and they dance again under the light.
