Since I’m swamped atm with writing but think this needs addressing writ large…

Ron has no qualms being tactile with anyone. Harry, though, is hesitant with everyone. So much of the time he’s touch-starved.

Ron has no problem remedying it daily. Whether it’s an arm over the shoulder or nudging a knee at the table, he’s always being tactile.

Harry… learns that he needs that. He finds that the day he gets more hugs, touches, casual activity are better days, mentally.

So let’s introduce Harry’s Romantic Partner(s) Since I too have the Poly ship Harry/Ginny/Luna.

Once Luna is firmly in the mix, Harry gets overloaded much of the time – but still finds he needs Ron.

(And everyone shares GP as their residence since it’s big enough)

(Harry eventually invests in an Alaska King sized bed – for all 5 to pile into sometimes.)

When Harry’s off on a mission and cut from contact with his found family, he gets cranky and irritable quickly. But once he’s home, with his family (everyone)… within a day (and some much-needed puppy pile sleep) he’s much better.

He piles into bed with Ron and Hermione when Ginny and Luna want some alone time. (Ron is in the middle, with Hermione behind him and Harry on the other side. A stack of spoons, what you will.)

Eventually, Harry learns that he can be affectionate with Ron – chaste kisses on the cheek or forehead – and no one blinks an eye at it. (He’s less prone to showing affection with Hermione unless she initiates it.)

Luna loves giving Harry affection with no expectations on her part for him to reciprocate. She’s very tactile, like Ron, but more gentle.

When he has a nightmare that Ginny and Luna can’t help him with, he piles into bed with Ron and Hermione – and she gets up and goes to make tea but most of the time, the guys are back asleep. (She has a whole album of these moments.)

Could you do a headcanon of after the war? A kid comes up to Ron, Hermione, or Harry and says that they’re their role model for the first time, what do you think would be each of the characters reactions to that?

Upon Harry being told that?

He’d probably be a little startled. Happy, yes, but he wouldn’t feel
like kids should want to be him. All he wanted was to have a happy life, and
he’s only just got that since the war finished. And, even then, most people
think of him as this great heroic figure instead of ‘just Harry’.

Upon Hermione being told that?

She’s probably feel honoured. I imagine she’d probably try to act modest
about it, but she can’t help it because she quite likes being complimented like
that. Having said that, she’d probably also insist that she was just helping
out, and that it needed to be done.

Upon Ron being told that?

First of all, he’d probably look over his shoulder to see if the kid was
talking about someone behind him. Then (after Harry grins and Hermione squeezes
Ron’s hand) he starts mumbling about ‘honestly, it’s not that big a deal’ before
the kid cuts him off, stating loudly ‘you’re my hero and I think you’re
awesome’. At which point, Ron’s face goes bright red and he starts spluttering
again. Harry and Hermione then turn to the kid and say ‘he’s our hero, too’.
Ron spends the rest of the day blushing furiously whilst Harry and Hermione
sing his praises.
